Ok Folks...

Booking is strictly by website, only those booked in advance may attend. Trainers working are free.

Here's your chance to learn to roll your Kayak or to improve your existing roll / rolls.

We are back for another two blocks each comprising of four weeks.

The first block starts on Saturday 7th Feb and the second starts on 7th Mar. Each block runs for 4 consecutive weeks.

There may be another block of four weeks organised... if you would like to be included in the third block please send your name saying that you want to be included in block 3 to info@sbkc.ie

The pool is located at Marley's Lane, in Drogheda, see map at bottom of this page.

T's & C's Bookings

Bookings is only accepted upon payment.

Payments must be made on line using the "Buy" button above.

We must have ten people booked before Tuesday 3rd Feb for the first block commencing on 7th Feb.

We must have ten bookings paid before 3rd March in order to proceed with the second booking commencing on 7th Mar.

If we do not receive the ten bookings for either or both dates all payments will be refunded in full on line.

There will be no refund for non attendances.

Commencement and continuation of the pool sessions is subject to a suitable level of instructor support.

Participants must bring their equipment to the pool, no equipment will be taken to the pool on their behalf.

The sessions are provided subject to the continued availability of the pool.

Arrival Time.
You should arrive at 6.45pm at the latest, drive around to the back of the building as we will be entering through the double doors at the back. Doors close at 6.55pm.
 

Clean Kayaks.
Kayaks must be power washed inside & out before and must be free of any soiling including leaves etc before entering the pool building. (Power hose provided at pool).
Entering the building.
Bring your boat & gear into the pool and set them down on the pool deck in an orderly manner. (There will be a public session taking place at that time and we don't want to upset anyone)... Do NOT walk inside the door of the pool area with your outdoor shoes on unless you are wearing the disposable overshoes provided at the pool.

Then go straight to the changing rooms and return to the poolside ready to start at 7.00 sharp.

While in the pool, you must take great care not to crash into the tiles on the pool deck.
 

Finish time.

The session finishes at 8.00pm sharp and everyone must be off the premises by 8.15 sharp.

When showering please use the cubicles which are furthest from the rear entrance / exit door and also please use the changing cubicles in the same area. Do NOT use any other showers or changing cubicles.

Do's and Don'ts

Do

Arrive on time at 6.45pm -

Ensure your kayak and gear are power washed thoroughly both inside and out. -

Set your gear down on the pool deck just inside the rear double doors in an orderly fashion taking care not to obstruct or hinder any of the public or staff at the pool. -

Go to the changing room to change (no changing on the pool deck) -

Use lockers provided for your personal belongings 1€ coin required (returnable).

 

Leave the pool at 8.00 sharp -

Return your kayak to the deck inside the back door. -

Move quickly and have a shower. Please use the showers and changing rooms at the top end of the changing area, this is the area furthest from the back door.

Collect all your belongings and leave the premises by 8.15 at the latest. -

 

Don't

Don't bring your boat into the pool unless clean inside & outside.

Don't mess or get up to any antics in the pool.

Don't start messing in the changing area.
